Yes, beyond any doubt. However the FA won't because he's too much his own man - bit like Brian Clough.

No because the Villa need him and he is doing a good job. England had the chance to employ him and rejected it. Instead they went for a manager who makes Sven look good. To me O'Neill was the obvious choice followed by Allardyce. When Sven went McLaren as his second in command should have also gone. There should have been a clean sweep and a new regime bought in. Now we have to face the consequences one which could well be non-qualification for the European Championships.

No, but Guss Hiddink or Big Phill should get the job because they are proven at that level, what has o'neil won in a proper league or europe? O'Neil wanted the job but the FA did not want him, simple.

The England selection bourd should all hang their heads and do the decent thing and resign now. How could they justify installing Mc whats his name in the first place. Wasn't he Svens tactition and right hand man. Ginger Sven?

As every Middlesbrough supporter will tell you, we were over the moon to get rid of McClaren, nobody here liked the guy including the players.
It's unfortunate the useless piece of sh*te moved onto haunt us in a bigger way.

The best guy for the job, without doubt, is currently occupying the seat next to McClaren….
