i have just come to accept that dbz has gone to the land of classics and i need to move on, what anime should i focus on next.

I'll admit that I was once an avid fan of dragon ball, I still regard it as one of my favorite series ever. If I had to choose an immediate follow up to dragon ball then I highly recommend "Naruto". The creator himself, Masashi Kishimoto was an admitted fan of Akira Toriyama and his work has been influenced by dbz. For those wanting to cross over, Naruto is a breath of fresh air. Great storytelling, intense fight scenes and interesting characters makes Naruto one of the greatest action anime, if not the best there is. Other than Naruto, I would highly suggest Bleach, Rurouni Kenshin and One Piece(unedited).

My answer is dbgt.I tried to see other animes like yugioh,naruto but there is no other anime as gr8 as dbz

you can try any of these anime Bleach, One Piece, Naruto, or FMA. I usually just go to the store and buy anime that look like they would interest me.
