All detox products are a waste of money (I know, I spent time marketing them).

Eat well, exercise regularly and don't booze and smoke too much.

There are lots of commercially prepared detox's which I don't have too much faith in. However there are great benefits derived from other homemade type drinks. I like the Master Cleanse. It's nothing fancy, easy to make, tastes good and cleanes you out like nobody's business! Personally I have not tried any detox's with herbs and oils yet, but herbs and essential oils ARE very beneficial also. Here are a coulple of sites you may be interested in!

It's a hoax.
There's no such thing as "detoxing".
Doctor Dean Edell talks about this kind of thing all the time, and he says there's no scientific basis or any research of any kind to back this kind of stuff up.
He said if someone tells you it is, ask them exactly what toxins are being "detoxed", and you'll be met with a blank stare.
If someone "knows" it's true, then they should know exactly what toxins they're getting rid of, right?
