I hope you didn't read this before you posted it! you say you have talked to him about moving in to make sure there IS sexual contact. What are you smoking? There should be an exam people have to take before they can have children! I have 3 daughters and over my dead body will their boyfriends move into my house when they are 14 years old. He is a grown man... if he loves her make him wait... At 14 she should be worried about school and not trying to play house! Smarten up Mom.

Well if you are divorced and her father finds out he could press charges, also get custody. Although when I was 16 I was dating a 21 year old. It all depends on you. And you have to ask yourself some major questions. 1. Is she mature enough to be dating a guy that much older than her. 2. Does she go places alone with him, where you are not present, something bad could happen to her. 3. How well do you know this guy. 4. Finally is she strong enough to say no and handle a situation before it gets out of control. I would think about all these things, she is just a child and he is an adult, kind of on the weird side. What does he want with a 14 year old? A guy who is 18 is usually into alot of stuff that you wouldn't even want your daughter to see.

Wow, take step back and REALLY think about this. 14??? She is not legally old enough to do anything, you condone her dating an 18 year old and are considering having him move in?? I assume you meant "NO" sexual contact. Either way, TROUBLE is all that will become of this. If you can't keep her away from this guy for her own good how about you being charged with child endangerment for facilitating illegal sexual relations???

Honestly. I'm a 18 year old kid. We lie about our sex lives. My parents know because they caught me. But thats all they know is about that girl and the first girl I had sex with. I could tell you how many girls I've had sex with, but thats getting a little too personal for me, but its more than 2 we'll put it that way. Teenagers lie about that kind of stuff. I wouldnt trust him, especially with a 14 year old. What an 18 year old would want with a 14 year old is sick. Shes far too young and immature to handle a relationship with someone like that. Do what is best for your daughter, dont let it happen. But to answer your question, I dont think the relationship is illegal, but if the state finds out their having sex you'll be screwed.

ok now maybe u should let your 14 year old have a childhood. do not burden her with having a live in boyfriend. that is something for grown ups. don't u want your daughter to have a social life. she would never get a chance just to be a kid and have her male and female friends come over her house just to hang out.
I don't think u could get in too much trouble with this rltp.only if someone reports u.

You're the only that can press charges so, the chances of him getting in trouble are really slim. However, I can't believe you're actually considering letting him LIVE with your daughter. There is such thing as silent sex and unless you check her hymen everyday, you're never going to know what they actually do. I dont oppose them dating though. I started dating my boyfriend when I was 14 and he was 18. That was a long time ago and to this day, we are both still virgins.

In most states, the parents or the younger partner in the couple has to file charges. The cops aren't going to just arrest him for statutory rape just because.
Glad to hear it was a typo. Do not let him move in. It is more likely they will have sex if he lives under your roof, even with you right down the hall. I wouldn't be comfortable with the age difference myself, but if you try to force her to stop seeing him, that will probably only make things worse, and she'll start lying to be able to see him.

Good Lord where did you leave your brain. I am sorry but this 14 yr old is being sexual exploited. She is a child yet & will be for a few yrs. She is the one who will pay for this count on that. God love her. Tell her to go to the school counselor & tell them what is happening at home. Maybe they can help her before it is to late.

Yes you can! You can also cause this young man to get into trouble.
Sooner or later there will be sexual contact! You can not prevent that.
