You have a colleague in New York and a colleague in
London. All three of you arrive at your separate offices
at 8 am and leave your offices at 6 pm. You want
to have a telephone conference with both of your colleagues
at a time when all three of you are in your offices.
At what time, in San Diego time, could you make the
phone call?

9 am (San Diego time) would work out fine for all three of you. That's 12 noon in NYC and 5 pm in London.
