At a traditional college you have an opportunity to interact with your classmates and your teachers, not just in online chats but face-to-face. You are likely to complete your assignments on time so as not to be embarrassed when you go to class.

At an online institution, you must have an incredible amount of self discipline.

Traditional colleges usually have regional accreditation but I have not found any online institution (totally online) that has this accreditation. Some programs may be quite easy because they are just a step above diploma mills but you would be wasting your money because your degree would not mean much to an employer or graduate school.

Online is easier, but requires discipline. And do NOT get a general online degree, BE TOPIC/AREA SPECIFIC or it will be of no value on a resume or to an employer. Online 'computer' degree = worthless, online 'C++' class = value. Etc with most topics.

both have different easy and hard sides. on line universities are better for timing because u don't need to go to university bu it could hard to study alone without teaching stuff.. regular collage can provide that but u must attend the classes many projects, home-works, quizzes e.t.c
