Why do they follow the masses instead of do their own discovery? And why don't people expect more from politicians and realize, every politican in office today is corrupt and a liar, REGARDLESS of political affiliation?

I think that most everyone realizes that all politicians are corrupt, regardless of affiliation.

Those that are the "Lemmings" are those that do not research to determine which is the least corrupted crook to vote for.

the will of the people - so easily manipulated - too bad-
you can see it in yahoo answers - it's rampant- so many people refuse to use the internet and check sources- there are many reliable sources and the truth is actually easy to find- it's a matter of doing it, though, and many are WAY to lazy- just follow the canards of the party line, the mega-mono-conglomerated right wing media-

The government has spent billions of dollars and many decades making the citizens fear them. And the people have cooperated. They have trained most people to not think and they don't. Labor unions have assisted in this.

It is time to reverse this by just saying no. It is time to start over.

Little to no actual knowledge of politics. Most only repeat what their friends or family says; either "Bush is bad", or "Clinton did it". Neither is good.
