Anybody on the recieving end of racisim?

Has anyone noticed that white people are becoming more and more racist by the day!??!?!?!
They are just becoming SOOOO rude and many have come up to me on many occasions and said racist stuff to me.
Even teachers at school!!
I am the only black person in my philosophy class and one day my teacher said "what do you say when a black person is crossing a zebra crossig?" He then continued "Now you see me, now you don't."
I did not think this was very funny.. but i looked around to see the class full of white people looking at me and laughing.
Anybody had similar problems?

It's not just White's that are racist; Hispanics, Blacks, Asian’s are no better. I've come to the conclusion that everyone hates everyone else. Also, we as minorities claim there is a huge racial divide between us and white America; but yet we do nothing to fix the situation. Look at that jack *** Kanye West…The guy goes on NATIONAL TELIVISION and turns something very positive it into a racial pissing match. Now, do you really think that helped racial tensions? If we want things to change we need to take action into our own hands…get involved with your community, stay in school, don’t have kids you can’t afford, take RESPONSIBILITY for your actions.

The fact that you single out white people could be seen as racist! The joke is an old and particularlly bad joke, they exist, get over it or do something with a little more impact than moaning.

By the way I'm white and have been the victem of racisim. I'm not the only person this has happened to either!

I understand this problem alot. I'm a Native American who lives on a reservation. On the ourskirts of my reservation are white towns, who get the majority of their business from the Native Americans. Many of them percieve us as lazy, uneducated, filthy and as thieves.

A year ago or so at one of the stores in our neigboring towns one of the store managers was in a bar and said they have to watch the indian's carefully because they steal so much. This is nonsense, white people steal as well. Many times I will go into a store in a near by town and they will ask if I need help like 5-7 times in a row, and continually watch me. And a white person can walk in the store and be unnoticed.

I find this extremely disturbing. I wish there was a way to stop it. I also like to look at people for who they are not to categorize everyone. But it does seem like a good percentage of whites are racist, or have racial bias against minorities. That is why many minorities have no faith in Government.

People with small minds have to attempt to make others feel/look small, so that they don't feel so bad about themselves. Not ALL of us are. Trust God, and let the fools hang themselves. And, I have been on the other side of that. I have taught college on a campus in a black community. I was accused of being a "klansman" because I expected the students to do the required work. I explained that if I was a "klansman," I wouldn't be there teaching, as I would not believe they were capable of learning. They got the message.

Well I think your philosophy teacher is a bigoted racist and you should have either stood up to him or her and defended yourself or gone to the head of school and made a complaint about it, just because all the white people in your class laughed at his nasty comments doesn't mean to say all white people are the same, I for one aren't a racist, I accept people for who they are and treat as I find.

I am a white person living in a place where most people are black. On Palm Sunday our minister was preaching on the subject (inter alia) of donkeys and was telling of a vicious brute of a donkey he had struggled with in Antigua. He broke off to apologise to the two white members of the congregation because it was a white donkey! I just laughed out loud. He wasn't being rude. Sometimes it doesn't do to take things to heart!

I think you are lying. No teacher would say that. Its an old joke too. It can be turned around also. "A white person is walking across a Zebra Crossing ... Now you see me now you dont. Get a life.

regrettably i pass to would desire to disagree. till all human beings looks the comparable, speaks the comparable, walks the comparable way, eats the comparable nutrition, does each and every thing precisely the comparable, even thinks the comparable, there'll continuously be some distinction that folk will gripe approximately. i think of the bigger problem is selfishness, egocentrism and greed. It won't rely what colour we are, issues like racism won't end till human beings learn how to triumph over our very own inner themes.

at the end of the day i believe we are all a little racist weather u r Hispanic black white Asian or whatever we all deep down would like our children to marry and breed in to our own race or as close to what we conceive to be r race as possible.end of the day we r all related somewhere.might b a 100 thousand years ago but .well lets put it like this somewhere down the line osama is related to GB.get it people.PS i am only on here tonight because my misses promised loads of what blokes need and the dopey cow has fell asleep......................
