My cycles are so messed up! My Husband and I are TTC but I don't even think I'm ovulating. About 10 days before my period starts I get tons of brown discharge along with cramps. It continues until my period starts and then turns into blood. This goes on every month. So it's like I only have 1 good week of nothing coming out of me!
I went to the Dr. and he did some blood work for thyroid disease and even PCOS but everything came back normal. This still doesn't explain the brown discharge. I think every pair of underwear is officially ruined. Any idea what this could be? I don't think it's healthy and I don't think we'll be able to conceive like this... Thanks!

I'm actually going through the same thing. Before my actual period, I would always get brown/dirty discharge and then a few days later, the red/clean look discharge. I went to the doctor too. I told them that my husband and I have been trying to conceive as well and I think my menstruation is the problem for us not being able to have children. They did test but like you said, it came back normal. They just told me to get on birth control so that it can regulate my period because I don't menstruate monthly. I'm not sure if I really want to get on those pills. Other then that, I'm at a dead end. The elders say the brown discharge are probably blood that has not ran out because I don't menstruate monthly so they just sit there. Who knows. You may need to see another physician if you plan to concieve. Your body is not cleaning itself out properly thus I doubt you are ovulating much if any. Try using a basil body thermometer and also those little pee tests for ovulation and see when your time is really. Charting your basil body temp will allow you to see the peak of your cycle. You may need to be all cleaned out perhaps with a d&c just to get all the gunk out of there and a few months (maybe 6) to be on birth control to regulate a normal period before you can go back to TTC. Yes, I'd definitely get a 2nd opinion and maybe some help with fertility drugs perhaps. Good luck, I hope you have your new baby real soon. :)

I recommend seeing a reproductive endocrinologist (RE). There's a good chance you might have PCOS, even though you tested OK. Many women "pass" the PCOS screening and still respond positively from treatment. The best treatment is diet, exercise, and metformin. For some reason you are not completely shedding your lining and this is not healthy (high risk of endometrial cancer) and you wont get pg until this is resolved. Find a good doctor and see the RE-they are the best at knowing what problems you might be having (if it's PCOS or something else). Good luck.

As the doctor couldn't find anything wrong maybe you could see a gynaecologist. Something is definitely not right! Get a second opinion. Really hope everything works out for you and you get pregnant!

EWWWWWW! Gross! You might be having complications from an STD, or have cysts on your ovaries that keep bursting and all the brown sh1t is leaking out. EWWW!! I wouldn't hit it now!
