One: Lives in another city and wants to take you to have dinner with family. Keep in mind he can be shallow sometimes, although he is financially independent.

Two: One who live locally, short on cash, will travel with you to friends in neighboring county if you drive you car. He also is like you in a lot of ways spiritually, sexually, intellectually and mentally.
Financially you both are focus on your goals and are financially struggling.

I think you should go with #1..he wants you to meet his family! Awesome...and it sounds as though you are going as a date. with #2 it sounds like friends hanging out with friends.

I would deffinitely go with number two. If you have more connection with #2 then he will help you enjoy the holidays. Being financially stable isn't the answer to happiness and shallowness reaches far when you need something important whether it's for you or about you. #2 seems to be on the same track as you and that's better than someone that can pull rank on you. That's just from speaking from experience. Good Luck and Happy Holidays.

It seems like everyone agrees. #2 is the one. You have more in common, obviously you are close, (sexually compatible). I don't really see any decision... unless the money part is appealing to you, and that would make you as shallow as you say #1 is.

Why would someone's financial status effect your decision about eating? That's hilarious. It's not like either of them asked you to marry them. Go with the person you enjoy being with the most. Who cares who drives?

since you won't be having kids with him, the financially independent thing doesn't really matter that much. What about your FAMILY? Ok. #2

#2 sounds like a much more appealing person to be with- even you didn't have much positive to say about #1.

#2. No contest. You seem to like him. Live is too short. Have fun.

I'd go with whichever person I felt more close to, emotionally.
