to be the case over and over again at my place of employment. I am 35 and could care less about what goes on and so are many of co-workers within my age group.

It really depends on the maturity of the person. Gossip is a waste of time and energy.

I think that younger people are into gossip more because at High School there is a rumor about everyone. I am 21 but still I love to gossip. And one of my friends loves to be the person who spreads all the rumors and gossip.

I think it's about the same. But, older people know alot more people to gossip about, therefore, they do it more. More to say.
