If you receive a card through the post informing you that you were not home when post man called with a parcel check the phone number (of your local postage collection point) in your local directory before you call them on the number they supply on card , this is a high rate telephone SCAM they charge you £15 connection and £5 per minute.

You deserve 10 points, or more for this 'question', and for putting it where Yahoo answer addicts will all see it.
It may also change your phone service to make it continue to charge premium rate whenever you call out, that is another scam, and another reason not to ring the number on the card.

What a Kind and thoughtfull thing to do , Informing others of yet another dirty trick , Pity some of the Poor Old Folk who won,t get this Info , Shame that the T V and radio stations dont put it on with the News and Weather Bulletins 24/7 , Good Luck to you , and Many Thanks .

It was in the paper today...although they gave the phone number, which was a bit dumb.
