What should I buy for a reserved, private and shy person?
What type of gift would she like? She likes animals, painting, candles,art, etc.
Thinking of getting her a stuffed animal.

Hello,
I would make her a gift basket with a bunch of little objects that she might want: a journal, a stuffed animal, a candle, chocolate (you can never go wrong with chocolate) some pens (different colors) a homemade cd, etc...
Be creative and a card of course

It depends on how long you have known her and what your relationship is.. but how about a basket with a couple of scented candles, some paint supplies and maybe a small stuffed animal.

I can tell you not to buy her anything that gets sent to the office, or any other suprise like that.
Someone reserved & shy probably also doesn't feel like people pay a lot of attention to her. Think of something she may have mentioned a while ago that she likes. Knowing that you care enough to listen may be the best present.

A nice journal. Maybe a sketch pad. You could personalize it for her and add a little message of your own.

that way you don't get hurt when she returns the gift and she can buy something she really wants
then everybody's happy!
