What about a person who loves him, and listens to him everyday and thinks he's the greatest person?

If you listen to him he is actually a good role model. He is not looking to be a role model. Smart, witty, and dirty.

He says a lot of entertaining things. Sometimes true, but he is just rude and nasty. People think he is awesome because of that? Anyone can talk trash. Maybe not as well as he can, but being able to talk about anything and doing it for entertainment is a responsibility. And Howard Stern has not done his country any favors. He says he opens peoples minds up to stuff they normally wouldn't think about. And that is good how? If people 'normally' don't think about stuff then it's abnormal. Howard Stern does say what's on his mind but let's hope that his attitude and personality doesn't reflect on all of us as a society.

Id say he is a very sick and filthy idiot and by far isn't even in the same league as a role model. For the people who love "big bird" and think he's great i think they are just being fooled and brainwashed. He maybe the greatest person for someone who has blinders on there eyes but for the rest of us normal people we can see his decietful programming all he's doing is corrupting peoples minds and our younger youth. He's just pumping out pure 100% garbage to the people that listen to him and it's a serious waste of airtime.Borat,Jackass 2 movies are the latest examples of this kind of twisted garbage thats pumped out in the media on a daily basis by hollyweird. Im really hoping that people are smart enough to see through and filter out this kind of crap in there minds.

I have listened to at least one of his shows completely through. I don't want friends that listen to that filth that is produced from the show. Let's call it what it is. If HS weren't so racist would he still be entertaining? I doubt that. Therefore, he is not entertaining period. I don't care that he doesn't like censorship, being an A$$h0le on TV or radio isn't doing much about the laws of censorship now is it? If he had that much of a problem with it, wouldn't he try to change them instead of adding fuel to their fire?

Nope...no role model, but certainly not entertaining either.

I love Howard. I`m a sixty year old woman in Canada. When he was on the radio here a few years ago I used to listen to his show every morning. He`s not a filthy person although he can be a little blue at times. I`ve read worse things on YA than he has ever done on his show!

Not Much, actually. I don't have a problem with him and don't think he should be "censored", I just don't see how he is funny or entertaining. I can't see how he's a role model (unless it's a role model for how to humiliate and insult people and talk about nothing but sex?)

Stern is a degenerate.
He takes his right to free speech beyond what is acceptable to those who must bear with his right to expression.
Note: The right to free speech was won over 200 years ago by others who died that we may now have POLITICAL free speech, not the right to say anything with our mouthes.
In the 1777's King George of England severely restricted the colonists voice and suppressed their right to assemble for fear of rebellion to his rule. The The colonists rebelled anyway and eventually beat back the English militia and with the blood of thousands won the right to representative government and right to free speech - to say politically what concepts, ideas - and other thoughts they had with regard to their government. Never did our Forefather's win the right to free speech in order to say ANYTHING they so desired. Social morals and religious involvement kept that in check and people did not speak as they do now for fear of offending neighbor folk. Why our Congress and our courts do allow Stern to say ANYTHING that he does is just as offensive as the sick words that come out of his mouth.
If you are one who regularly listen to Stern, you, too, will speak as he does, if you don't already. Life or death is in the power of the tongue. If stern is not speaking life, then He is speaking death and you are listening and slowly dying psychologically and mentally...not to mention, spiritually.
It is a shame that you would hold such a poor model of a man in such high esteem. I could say F--- you and only one person will hear it. Stern can say it into his microphone and millions of people are now affected by his "free speech."
Get smart.
Think.
And good luck.

He's a narcissistic jerk, but he does stand up for what he believes, which is more than a lot of people do these days. I know people who idolize him too, and when I ask them what the attraction is, they say he's entertaining and not afraid to speak his mind no matter what inappropriate thought crosses it. He says censorship is evil, but he wouldn't have to worry about it if he learned how to censor himself. I mean, do we really need to hear about his and other people's personal quirks, fetishes, fantasies, etc? I listened to his show once and maybe there is more to it than what I heard, but I didn't find it enlightening, entertaining, or funny.
