I am going to get a brazilian wax soon, for the first time. Usually i shave. I am wondering if anyone knows how long your hair has to be so they can wax it?

Just don't be too short... doesn't matter if it's long because they can always cut them short first before waxing... I just got mine done too for the first time last weekend... I'm liking it...

Usually between a 1/4 - 1/2 inch long. Check with the establishment before you go.

The hair should be a quarter of an inch, and depending on where you hair goes, they may have you do some pretty funny positions. You might want to bring your own, because I don't know if they offer a disposable one, or anything.

Most salons recomend that your hair be at least a quarter inch to wax.

quarter of an inch or so.. to the point where it lays on your skin as opposed to sticking straight out.. that way they can effectly remove it all.
