2 Oct 2003Reports surface that Limbaugh is being investigated by the Florida State Attorney General's office in Palm Beach County, for his abuse of Oxycontin, Lorcet and hydrocodone prescription painkillers. The source for the story is Wilma Cline, a former housekeeper and also alleged source of the drugs. She claims to have obtained Limbaugh 4,350 pills over a 47 day period. An unnamed source at the State Attorney's office confirmed the story to the New York Daily News.

You mean his search for the truth has flaws?? It's really hard to believe that idiot could lie to all his followers. He could have been a preacher, has all the qualifications, I think there's a church in Boulder that's right down his alley.

He's an entertainer. He's not serious about everything he says. He's a human being that makes mistakes. Doesn't sound like he did anything illegal with regard to the draft. And the Vietnam confict was very different from the Iraqui conflic. I should also point out that if what you claim bears any resemblance to the truth, it is significant that his drug use was medicinal in origin. I don't believe the gay prostitute thing. The gay prostitute thing wouldn't be of any significance to a liberal commentator, because they usually ARE gay prostitutes.

I'm a registered republican. I heard Limbaugh a few times in the early 90's. I've never heard of Hannity, Beck, or Weiner. I've never listened to Savage. Since I don't know their messages it would be impossible for them to lead me or be my role model. I'm also not divorced, an alcoholic, a recovering alcoholic, nor a drug abuser.

Let's see I don't know what a sheeple is (intentionally glib). I don't listen to Rush Limbaugh and even if I did he wouldn't do my thinking for me. I think no matter whether you agree with him or not he is obviously popular and entertaining or he wouldn't have the largest radio listening audience in the country. I think if he bothers you that much that someone needs to remind you that there are 2 knobs on the radio (one turns it off and the other changes the station). Mostly though I just think you are seriously obsessed with the man and need to get over it.
