I can't seem to find a law reguarding texas law on bigamy convictions and what the punishment is. If anyone knows please pass along the information to me quickly. I go to court on monday 11-20-06. I know my spouse was married in mexico before we were married and never divorced. I didn't learn of this until after we were married.

Minimum is a small fine and the maximum is they make you keep all your wives.

Maximum punishment: you get stuck with both wives.
Minimum punishment: you get stuck with one of them.
