Hello dear Asker ;

{ as you know ;
P(n , r) = n! / ( n – r )! }...

so ;

P (5 , 3) = 5! / ( 5 – 3)!
=5! / 2!
= (5 * 4 * 3 * 2 * 1) / (2 * 1)
= 120 / 2
= 60
Totally We cane make 60 words with out any repetition

Good Luck dear

These are all the 3 letter words in TABLE currently allowed in North American Scrabble:
TEL
TEA
TAE
TAB
LET
LEA
LAT
LAB
ETA
EAT
BET
BEL
BAT
BAL
ATE
ALT
ALE
ALB

So... that looks like 18. Depending on how you define a "word" (some of these above are very obscure), your mileage may vary.
I'm a tournament Scrabble player in North America, so I'm using the official word list we Scrabble players use. If you use the British Scrabble word list, that would probably have another couple of (extremely) obscure words, so maybe 20-22. If you only use "normal" words, then about 10, depending what normal is for you.

Do you want permutations (in that case it's 60) or only the ones that make an English words? In the latter case there's at least 9 that I can think of: TAB BAT ALE LET TEA ATE EAT BET LAB and possibly more.

Of course ALE is the first one that I thought of... It's Friday afternoon, after all.
