i dreamt that i woke up in my room but it was messier than it is now and my dog had vomitted next to a turned over hamper of dirty clothes. then i walked into the halway, and my dog had crapped all over the carpet but my dad and sister cleaned it up but the smears were still there. they claimed they couldnt see the smears but i could. then i woke up what does this all mean?

it might mean that you feel the need to be the cleaner upper of your family and that you are always fixing their "messes" and that they are oblivous to the fact that they are leaving their issues for you to come along to fix for them
and the person who said dreams are just what you think about during the day, that isnt always true. your dreams are sometimes a window into your underlying feelings about lifes situations

all dreams are what you think about during the day.
If you have a problem before you go to sleep, and you dream, you will have an answer to the problem in the morning. So your mind is reviewing what you did or thought about during the day but in meshed form.
