"The law of diminishing returns means that there will always be a point beyond which it is not worth investing more time and effort into figuring out underlying reality." Perhaps that point may be better reached sooner rather than later; life is short enough without spending too much time trying to figure out ultimate meanings. Have you read "The Razor's Edge," by Maugham? Case in point. Although, since all roads lead ultimately to the grave, one road may be just as meaningful as another--including the road of endless inquiry.

Pleasure. Have fun! This means you have to first meet your basic needs however necessary (food, water, shelter etc because it's hard to enjoy life when you're starving, thirsty & homeless) then meet your need for love & belonging & then enjoy all the other things, the luxuries of life. Do what you love.
Basically the point of life is to survive but the way to survive is to be happy. Being miserable, stressed, succumbing to negative emotions etc will eventually kill you.
Make the most of your life.

I believe it is to live and treat people right. I believe it is to enjoy your life, while helping others less fortunate than you. It makes you feel good! I know that it makes me feel good.
And since things were changed around according to Genesis, I believe it is a chance to be saved and live an even better life in the next world. That's what I believe!!!!!!!!!!!!
