When you are in a relationship, are you the first person to say "I love you" or do you wait for the other person to say it first?

If I feel it, I say it. It's not an issue of waiting the other person out, or being sure I'm the first to say it. I just know when it's right for me to express it......:)

I have had it happen both ways. It depends on how strongly feel about the person. In my last relationship I wanted to say it. I held off because I did not want to rush things. She said it first and I was a little surprised. No one loves me anymore.

It really depends on the relationship but my best friend was the first to say so this time. I've secretly loved him for some time but i didn't know how it would change after i tell him so i was SO thrilled to hear that he loves me back!<3

I waited because didn't know how he would feel, but I can still remember the first time he told me. Then when I said it back to him he said "you are just saying that because I told you." so maybe I'll just tell my feelings like it is next time and not hold back.

I said it first in this one and it seems to be working out pretty well, before I always waited. But this guy, I knew I loved him before I met him. I know that sounds really corny, but I believe it. He was what I always thought all the others before were.

The only time I've ever said it in a relationship was to the man who became my husband. I said it first but he was happy to respond with the same =)

Tis happened both ways for me Dragon. I tell many people I love them as there are different kinds of love.

I think the king and I say it first about equally. The first first time it was him.
