I am french, and I want to know what you think about our country ?

Franco-American relations are are not exactly at their apex these days, yet Le Tour Eiffel looms, the catacombs still intrigue, Champs Elysee (sp?) is there and DeGaull isn't. Being of French descent I cringe at some of the reports I hear of French people's rudeness to tourists and the government's coolness to America and it's position in world affairs.
These are some reasons France has slipped from #1 on my list of places to visit.

Paris is awesome! Nice is even better. But the French appear very stuck up and snobby towards anybody but the French. Oh, and thanks for the Statue of Liberty. That's cool too.

la France c'est l'egalite, la fraternite et la liberte. this is what France is about in the eyes of the western world. of course -- since wwII -- France in particular had major differences with U.K. on european union and differences with u.s.a. on foreign politics. too long to detail here. france is still france -- because of its beatiful love and song language -- its joie de vivre. and tour eiffel, napolean (code), paris of course etc.etc. Bienvenu to this site as an ambassador to France.

I visited France five years ago with my husbend for your 5th anniversery and i was charmed by Paris itself, the people and the language. It was our best unforgetable anniversary. Thank you Paris.
