First you have to become an EMT-basic. After that, you can go to medic school. Check with your local community colleges. They normally offer EMT and Paramedic classes. Also, check with your local fire departments. They may be medics, and they are definetly EMT-B so they should be able to point you towards a school. EMT school isn't too tough, but you're in for a year to 18 months of difficult school to become a paramedic. You'll have to study hard and really apply yourself. Good luck to you!

There's a community college in Colorado that offers an excellent EMT program (I know it's not full-fledged paramedic, but it's a start). Check out Red Rocks Community College, or Metropolitan State College of Denver.

Join a Rescue Sqaud first. Learn basic first aid, cpr, etc. Go to school and get your EMT first

go to north carolina there are a ton of medical schools here. EMT, nursing, physicians assistant, physical therapy, etc.
