I realize this is a dumb question, but when people are giving me long URLs I always get this confused and have to guess.

That's a forward slash - \ is a back slack.
I always look at it by the way your reading. You read from left to right. If the slash is going from top right to bottom left then it is pointing forwards - towards the text / a back slash is holding the words BACK by facing the other direction. \

It's a forward Slash (the one on the same key as the question mark).
The Backslash is on a key usually above the Enter key

look up his official you-tube channel. I am not saying he will respond, I am not sure how often he even uses a computer. My sister was in choir with Bill Bailey, aka axle. and Izzy brother played drums for me yrs ago at his mothers house. he was playing on Izzy drum set. my brother sold them a quarter lb. back before they went on tour for the use your illusion tour, I was the first person Izzy seen after leaving the band. I just happened to be at the Village Pantry on 9th st. in Lafayette, there was a train on the tracks. he told me they were going to go to Japan to film a DVD. he say Gilby Clark was taking his place and he was a good guitar player. he liked him okay. he was off the hard dope, but he was looking for pot. lol...he is a pretty cool guy. and the guy on here who put slash down, well I have never met him or steven, but I love slash. he seems cool to me. my sister used to trip axle all the time back in high school and sing the wont you come home bill baily, wont you come home. he really hated her. ha ha ha. I met Shannon Hoon too, he was an A$$ hole. I met him at a party, he used to play with a local band called ma kelly. they were okay, just a good cover band. I'm not sure if they had any originals. they went through a couple of vocalist back then. I play guitar, but I have never had the opportunity to play with any of them.Life is to short for Bull $hit. I am telling the truth. I am from Lafayette Indiana. I hope I could help you out. keep the peace and good luck. maybe if your lucky you could get a back stage pass and meet him. I wish you luck. I have always wanted to meet Ace Frehley,and Tony Iomi . I heard Tony was really sick. cancer I think. Slash is young enough to stomp out some great music for another 10 to 15 yrs. at least I hope so. he is one of the greatest of all Time..
