Who else is addicted to popping flea's on pets? Should this be an olympic sport?

Many I see are in denal, I know of many females that pick-pop flea's off there pets, especially cats. If you don't think I am right go ahead and post this question in the pet section. I am not supporting Darwinism here, but we all have seen Chimps picking each other in the wild and zoo's, it's a natural thing to do, especially for females. If I had to guess I would say 50% of female cat owners have done this before.

I used to be, then someone told me that if they have eggs in them they haven't laid yet, it scatters the eggs all over to hatch. I don't know if that's true or not, but it stopped me in a hurry.

Sorry, no. But there are other freakish things I like to do.
Ok, so what am I missing here? Does "popping" or "picking" fleas have some meaning I don't understand? Are they euphemisms for ....? I assumed it mean that you pick fleas off your cat.
I don't understand why anyone would consider that gross or creepy or sick. Assuming you're also getting kitty flea treatment, I would see it as a good thing. And if you want to squeeze them, well, that might be a little odd but nothing to worry about.
I also don't understand why you think it's mostly girls who do this? Or what Darwin has to do with simian grooming behaviors? Actually I do know, but this isn't the R&S section, so you don't have to feel defensive about it.

Ewwww!!!! That's so gross!
I wouldn't even be able to do it if I wanted too. We make sure that none of our pets will ever get fleas.

when I was like 6 I liked popping bugs...Than I grew up and realized it was kind of disturbing.............................
But..It wasn't ever fleas off of an animal...............I can't say anything but eww really..sorry, I don't know what kind of confession you were looking for but that's the only thing I can confess..That's nasty.lol.

i think you are alone on this. its absolutely vile! are you crazy?! popping fleas? dont get me wrong but that isnt exactly what people do now is it? there is something wrong with you. whats going on in that head of yours??????
