People love to hate. And nothing will bring more people from different backgrounds together than hate, it makes people feel good to be able to look down on others and feel better about themselves. It is very sad and I believe what goes around comes around for all of us.

Well alpine... You certainly are only capable of seeing an issue from one side.
First, the land known as Palestine goes back to Biblical times and it was located where the Gaza Strip is. The same region of the world that the Palestinians reside in today. Israel has also existed since Biblical times and the Israelis reside in the *their* same territory today. Noone took the land away from the Palestinians. The Palestinians just don't want to share the neighboring land with the Israelis. So that portion of your argument doesn't hold merit. If that is the only problem then problem solved. Israel gets to keep her land and the Palestinians get to keep the Gaza Strip. 10-4?
Now, since you see that little issue as the only problem that the Muslims have, then why in the world are they blowing up trains, buses, buildings, boats, and markets full of people all around the world? Why aren't the peace loving Muslims doing more than performing lip service by half heartedly denoucing them?
If I were you I would feel a bit foolish right now for such a ridiculous commentary on how Muslims are being treated unfairly when it is the rest of the world that is having to come up with ways to protect themselves from the Muslim Extremist attacks being carried out. .

If, as you claim, Muslims only want to be peaceful neighbors, where was their outrage when the 9/11 attacks and all of the other atrocities took place. We all saw these supposedly peace loving Muslims dancing in the streets at the thought of so many American casualties. Where was your outrage when they beheaded Nick Berg. There was probably no one person in that whole area who was more sympathetic to the Muslim people and they whacked his head off with a dull bayonet.
Wht do Muslims constantly rejoice at tradgedy and misfortune of others? Why do Muslims feel that anyone who doesn't share their beliefs must die a horrible death?
You wonder why we don't trust you? Look at the way you behave. Stop bashing us and maybe we'll forgive you. We're a whole lot more forgiving people than the Muslims have ever been, AND THAT'S A FACT!!!

There are two problems here that you have to take into consideration. Before I get to hose the answer to your question is yes. there is a lot of Muslim bashing, but with reason. First, if the vast majority of peaceful Muslims would vocalize their disgust for the fringe element that causes all the problems, the western world would be much more sympathetic to their cause. Most non-Muslims, myself included feel that there is sympathy for the terrorist movement in the Muslim religion by even the "Good Muslims". That makes it difficult for us to support Muslim's as a whole. Palestine could be made the jewel of the world in a matter of months piratically if the Muslim community would recognize Israel and concentrate its efforts on rebuilding the mecca of religious or gins insted of destroying them. The Palestinian problem is nurtured by governments like Iran and Syria who don't want there to be peace. I'm sorry for you if you feel that Muslims are unfairly treated but the truth is that they have to fix the problem not the rest of us.

Si, senor. I agree completely. Muslims had no quarrel with us until we stuck our big fat noses in their business. Now we won't leave them alone, and we need to. Most of them didn't even do anything, it's only a small few that did. True, we cannot forget the things that have bene done by their fellow Muslims, but we must also remember that, in the first Crusade, it was caused by a slightly unstable king and mostly the pope. They actually held real respect for all people, allowed Christians to continue worship, and actually influenced some Christian Beliefs. Hello, Thomas Aquinas.

gosh-those peaceful muslims blowing themselves up, in civilian areas, in spain, england and israel, not to mention 9/11. whats wrong with people. those handful of muslims who blowing themselves up everyday in iraq, killing even their own fellow muslims because they r a different kind of muslim, its just a handful? Man-there are organizations and armies of these type of people. i am not a muslim basher, but i will stand by what i just said. this is neither peaceful nor innocent, and is sure not a very very slim majority. do u support palestine-a terrorist run area? there r not country-they too torture and murder and kill innocents in the name of their god. when people direct comments directly to americans about our destruction-we may take it personal-i guess that isnt political correct to defend yourself against a minority. when muslims stop threatening, i know for u muslims that it isnt all of u-dont worry, and stop praising allah for the murder of innocent civilains-u can ask those who bash to stop. and whats with the "Christians"-u think all muslims are actually true to their faith? come on-use more common sense in your questions-shame on u

"Yes, it is true that a handful characters who happened to be "muslims" have done evil things in the past, hence it seems to be OK to demonise all muslims."
A HANDFUL? Wake up, there are millions of radical muslims and we have no idea how many are in our country. Of those in our country how many speak up against radical islamists? How many came here to participate in jihad? We do not know.
See the movie "Obsession: Radical Islam's War Against the West".

Well, the way Muslims are acting these days means they deserve all the bashing, crashing and mayhem we can give them. Maybe if they stop blowing up trains and airplanes etc it would calm down.
