Gerrard, he is by far better then lampard, i have seen lampard for years and hasn't really impressed much, his goals are mostly deflected or lucky. He only gets a lot of goals because he get allot of time when playing for Chelsea, most goals he has scored for England have been against weaker teams, and played sh** in the world cup that tells me allot, (as well as beckham, don't get me started on beckham). lampard should not be in the England team, Gerrard has a better all round game, scores goals plays well every game,shines a bit at Liverpool more then he should, Liverpool should have better strikers, then i think Gerrard would play allot better concentrating on his football, cos Liverpool don't win unless Gerrard plays for five men, Gerrard should have been captain for his country,

Lampard is a great scorer at his best, but I believe Gerrard is a more complete player and also a great leader.

The two are different style of players. Although both are attacking midfield, they are different. In terms of skill and leadership, Gerrard is better, but Lampard is always giving his best, his form is more steady.

i feel Gerrards the one who will add more value to the team more than lampard.....Lampard has great players all around him....so he gets more opportunities to score as the defenders concentrate on everyone......also i feel Gerrards the one who puts in more effort out on the field....
