as reported on bbc, a 2de year phyc student was leaving a libery ,
he looked like of arab extraction ,ON HIs WAY OUT OF HIS SCHOOL libary, and asked to show his id by people ,police comming into the libery
he refused ,or didnt have his id ,thus was escorted out
whole continuing outside under erscort,of the police one officer placed his hand on the guys arm ,t,the guy then let himself fall to the ground ,clearly if a civilian touched a policeman he would be charged with assult ,the student seems to have highlighted the inconcistancy in law by falling to the ground ,
the police then began tasering him when he got upset ,twice, the dude clearly went over board but then whats with the over reaction and demand for id ,from a duse clearly leaving
have we become a police state?
did the police have a right to ,ask for id ?
was it assult when they touched the dudes arm?
did they have the right to taser the dude?
is this as refusing to get off a bus seat for a white dude?

respondants 3 and 4
clearely you are not students of histry, what began as racial profiling in germany had its fruits in that horror called holocost.
please note that mass murders begin woth ripping wings off flies ,progress to mutilating animals and end up after a slow but mindless progression ,killing humans ,
but the signs were there both in the hollowcost and the murder, and mutilation experienced by the victims of perverts thinking themselves suppirior to the comman human decencies.
if you recall experiments were conducted in the eighties where students were seperated into two groups ,one was given authority over the other ,even picked by random choice ,it proved authority corropts morality ,absolute power corrupts absolutly, they begin with the little guy till even the biggest become small ,then its open season,
when the perverts were killed ,they went for the defectives ,then they went for the different ,then the jew ,who would have been next ,is what we witness every day.

They have a right to ask for ID and remove the student. it is school policy, and it makes sense. They even had a right to touch his arm and escort him out if he was being loud and uncooperative. But that's where it ends. Regardless of whether or not he was cooperative. Tasing a handcuffed person is straight-up torture. tasers are meant to immobilize dangerous individuals, not “move people along”, regardless of how much warning you give them, or how loud they are being.

Police are trained to use the minimum amount of force necessary to subdue a suspect. This skinny 23 year old kid is in handcuffs, there are 4-6 big police officers... they could carry his dumb-*** out... or drag him... or (as I have seen dozens of officers do in similar situations... ) be the bigger man, sit back, and handle it calmly and professionally... let the kid be the ***...

I’m sorry those officers had an uncooperative suspect, but they should have handled it far more professionally, hell big fat high-school football club/bar bouncers remove uncooperative individuals more humanely and successfully all the time.

Near the end of the video, The officer threatens to tase another student, who is asking him for his ID number, that’s called assault.

sidenote: tasers have killed something like 118 people last year.

Those cops are completely out of control, they are lucky a riot didn't break out. Fire and fine them all, and send the “i’ll taze you too” officer to jail. Thank god, this is only the 10% of bad police officers... most are far better cops....

No he shouldn't have been tased, if he didn't have his Id , they should have made him leave or go get it, the police force thinks just because the wear a badge they have the right to treat people anyway they want to ,but that's not fair and I hope he's ok and I hope the sues the pants off of them.

Watch the video. The guys was clearly refusing to leave and yes EVERYONE gets checked for an ID and he was refusing. He should have been tasered a few more times.

I understand you can see video footage of this on Youtube. I can't believe that happened to this guy. I don't know what I would have done in the same situation. It wasn't right and why were the police even there? I don't have the whole story yet.

Actually the duty officer was doing his job, the student was being an idiot. The officer was checking ID and the student became belligerent, I might not have tasered him but certainly would have used pepper spray or a right hook.

sure, I have "stuck" scholars having a pipe dream and drawing hearts. the perfect is even as a lady student writes: Mrs.(the call of boy she likes or is relationship). that's really obvious even as scholars have crushes on one yet another.
