Darlin, it's easy to get a boyfriend, there's a one paragraph course somewhere on how to do that? But it's hard to find your true love, someone who's special, you only get a few of those in a lifetime. Just be patient and when you find him you'll know, you just know.

Obviously, a boyfriend is no just a person to you, but an object. That's really not the way to go about doing things. I think that in general, since you're asking, you're slightly self-conscious about something. Peer pressure? Fitting in with the crowd of those who have their boy-friends? Expanding your networking of friends? If either of these are the case, I would say just wait. I waited until I was 18 to even start thinking about it, and now I have a long-distance relationship that's going awesome.

Just wait until circumstances happen, and the timing is right, because right now if you were to get one, you probably wouldn't be ready for it.

you will meet him some day. your goal for now should be focusing on being you, find out who you are and what you want. then when you and mr right finally bump into each other, you will be ready to make the relationship the best it can be.

if you focus mainly on finding the right guy, you will find some guy that will only end up being a bad experience, because you wanted to the fill the position so badly that you accepted the first applicant. its not first come, first serve. it should be an interviewing process with some basic qualifications that need to be met. dont settle for someone just because the positions open.

but....until you find him, live it up!!! enjoy the single life! its a blast when you look at being single as an opportunity instead of a set back : )

I see your screen name has the number 52 in it. Is it that you are 52 perhaps and can't find a love for you?My mother is like that too, she's 61 divorced, and wants a boyfriend as well.

Be true to yourself, screw boyfriends they're really not worth the trouble of exerting the effort to go out and 'get' one, just let it come natural. You'll find one when it's time.

But for what it's worth: try this quiz http://www.links2love.com/quizzes/get-a-boyfriend-quiz.htm

How old are you? If you need to ask about boys, then you are not ready...talk to your mom for suggestions if you are a young teen....she will like that you are coming to her and this will open the road to communication between you two.....

Why do you need one? I agree with the person who said "If you have to ask then you're not ready for one."
