Last year's Rose Bowl. No question.
the two longest winning streaks in the nation...the star power on both sides. USC with 2 heisman winners, against Vince Young (who SHOULD have won the Heisman last year) and the rest of the Longhorns.

2006 OSU-Michigan is better, more competitive, more TEAM oriented, more history, more tradition, more on the line -- and its going to mean more, too. We can only hope they can stage a rematch for all the marbles in Arizona in January.
And now with Bo Schembechler passing away, a game that could hardly be more important is now getting another layer of meaning.
You mentioned two too many players on that '05 Texas team; the ONLY player that mattered was Vince "I flunked my NFL IQ test" Young; those other guys on the field in Texas uniforms might as well have been from the marching band. USC REALLY should have won that game and, in my opinion, USC lost it. Texas just happened to be on the field when they did. There might not be any moral victories, but there sure are moral defeats.

That Rose Bowl was an amazing game. And that's not easy for me to say since I am an Aggie and Razorback. Probably the first and only time I have/will root for the Longhorns.
I plan to watch the OSU/Mich game, but I don't really care who wins. I just can't get that excited about Big 10 games.

Ohio State/ Michigan game last year the Rose bowl was USC studs verses Vince Young. Tomorrows game matches two teams full of studs.

I would have to say that the two teams of last year were better than this year because last year, Texas and USC played better teams and more ranked teams throughout the season. OSU and Michigan have played identical effortless schedules. Plus, there were many more playmakers in last years game. However, if OSU and Michigan play a great game on saturday, I might have to change my decision.

well most people will say the rose bowl last year because it was an exciting game to watch. it was a shoot out
Mich vs Ohio State will not be like that
they both have amazing Defense (OSU is better)
so don't expect to see so many TDs

I need to see the game played out before I can make any judgement. I mean if the game is sloppy or one team wins easy then it takes alot away.
It is tough to match up with the rose bowl title game.

i'm sorry but i don't see the comparison not to take away from the importance of ohio state vs. michigan but usc vs. texas was for the national championship and the game between ohio state vs. michigan is to determine who gets to play for the national championship there two different things

Why is Anthony Gonzalez always left out? It seems that people outside of Ohio don't recognize his talent! Why is that?
