i am not reading this speech. its an assignment for class and is only going to be turned into my teacher. no oral presentation.

my speech should not have a bias. i am just there to inform them of the changes and challanges that take place when a child is added to the family. ( both good and bad changes)

what kind of speech? if it's just to inform then begin with
intro and i will talk about #1, 2 and 3.
then talk about 1,2, and 3
conclusion. i have talked about 1,2, and 3

edit: are u going to get them ready for the new family number or u want to persuade them not to/ to add family member?

edit: teamnote has a good answer.

I did it last year for the graduation, spoke between 1000 people
There is no format for a speech. Writing a speech down is just help you organize what you would live to say, make your speech conherent, and help you remember or you can use it to remind you when speaking. That why speaker considers should or should not use paper or a note card when speaking.

So,it's so to you. As long as it appears "kindly" when you read it, it's okay.

- You can outline, write down what you want to emphasize...

Depending upon the type of speech, formats will differ. I have added some useful links:

I took a speech class before and it's better if you write a speech outline. You can find speech outline examples online and put your topics into it.
