i am the same way you are, im very cool until someone does something to really stupid to annoy me, and it has to be some really really bad. and i think if someone harmed my family, i would do the same, i wouldnt care if i ended up jail for life, as long as i have inflicted the same amount of pain to them as they did to me.

belief in God and in the fact that God will take care of the matter is what I believe in. Plus like people say "what comes around, goes around" meaning that that person that does the injury will get what's coming to them, and not necessarily by you.
I have to tell you that I've watched the boomerang effect hit people who did things to me, so I know that works. That boomerang thing seems to be a law of nature.
We were put on earth for many reasons but also to think things out and be responsible for what we do. If you took out revenge on someone then "you" would suffer the consequences for what you did, probably end up in jail and have a tough time there. They say everything happens from thought (not reaction), so decide what you would do ahead of time and then take action if something ever happens. I hope you've made the correct choice.

I feel the same way but I also believe in a little something called Karma. I believe whatever goes around comes around. Each time I was out to get someone, I'll get bitten in the @ss. But that's why I let God handle what bothers me because he always seems to get to it one way or another.
Revenge is like hearsay, I believe it's childish and I believe people should let God handle what's bothering them and just grow up as a person. The people who go out and do something horrible doesn't know what or how their actions can trigger another human being or even their self.
That's why I don't participate in revenge tactics.

It honestly depends on what it is. If someone were to physically harm or kill someone I love I'd be right there with you. But, when it comes to the other serious yet not fatal issues that can cause one to contemplate revenge I have to go with my personal religious philosophy. We all get what we deserve in this life or the next. Whoever did the harming shall be harmed and I can just do what I can and hope to be there when they get there's. Or at the very least hope to hear about it.

Revenge is tough because almost everyone has wanted to get even with someone. As hard as it seems at first, you have to let it go most of the time because it would only get worse. No telling how that person would retaliate. Sometimes the best revenge is to just cut that person out of your life. Act as if they don't exist and they will see what a mistake they made. Disregarding someone without action is the best revenge in my opinion.

Revenge seldom turns out well. It is usually destructive in many ways mostly emotionally. There are times when we are hurt when revenge seems like the best answer but depending on your idea of revenge it can only bring you further into hell. Justice however is nice and can often be a side of revenge. I like to believe that what comes around goes around and that by striving for justice and self improvement I am aquiring all the "revenge" I need in a safe non self-destructive way.

i try to avoid seeking revenge but the rush of the outcoming is what is addictive to me. so one does you wrong you think of the many things you can do to them and how it will piss them off. but then i come of that high and i normaly dont do anything. sometimes i will say a smart comment and i feel bad afterwards.
i have my thoughs about revenge that is enough for me most of the time to just think it and not do it, but im talking little stuff. big stuff i may have to shut down or get revenge, i hope i dont have to deal with that though.

Ruby,
Anger, revenge, hate, jealousy, etc. These are all charcter defects that most all people have to one degree or another. The way that we control them is up to you. So if that is the way you feel then perhaps that is the way you would respond. Remember nobody knows how you will act in any situation until it happens to you, you could be very surprized.

.I agree with you on the subject, how can you allow someone that has hurt yours, think it's okay. I'm not a violent person, but their are consequence 2 everything in life for us all Blood of My Blood, Loin of my Loin, you all one Flesh of My Flesh. People should understand that their are things we shouldn't do to others, that we wouldn't want done 2 us or our love ones. YES i do. That's the Truth.

revenge is very satisfying in my opinion but on one condition, which is giving sometime to think about it so u dont over react and regret it later.
ofcourse i'm not talking about killing, or any kind of physical harm or cruelty.
i'm only talking about revenge of annoying someone or putting someone in the same position he out u or ur loved ones.
if your revenge would get u in trouble, then it will be a stupid mistake not revenge.
a person has to forgive every now and then, specially if the one who hurt him didnt mean it at all.
Peace
