What is the best type of shoe for Plumbers? My boyfriend wanted nothing but shoes for Christmas and I want to get him a shoe specifically for his job, because at this point he'll just put on any shoe to go do a Re-Pipe. So if there are any experts who can help me out, I'd gladly appriciate it!

PLumbers don't have special shoes, so just get him some comfortable work boots with good support.

I didn't know Plumbers had to wear special shoes but I would think some work boots would be good. They have to be comfortable though so I would go to the store and ask someone to help you find the most comfortable work boots.

There is no specific shoe a plumber has to wear, because their feet aren't in too much danger. My uncle has done the job for a million years, and wears Chuck Taylors to the job site daily.

A good pair of lite weight, safety toe, steel shank low boot will work. If you pay less them $80.00 you didn't get a good pair. I have my old Jump Boots from my Airborne days with a zipper up the sides for easy put on and off. Army/Navy store for $100.00
