You'd be better off shopping in the UK for bra's. The US, stores online too, only carries the typical sizes everyone has. My back is a 30, so you can just imagine how much trouble I have...I've resorted to making my own lately...
http://www.barenecessities.com carries just about every size and depending on what size you are, the price varries, although they do have occasional sales, and they come in various styles and colors. I've ordered from them once before...shipping was a bit slow and they seemed to have run out of stock for some odd reason and never could replenish, but they do carry good bra's.

Marks and spencers do a large range of different sizes, I do not know about the USA though.

Wal-Mart is a good place to go and get larger bras. Also Cato Fashion is another store that carries larger bras. You might even want to try www.amazon.com they have different size bras. All of these place are not really high. Good prices.

Walmart, Target, Meijer's have bras upto 44 or 46DD. One of the best brands is Just My Size. If you need something bigger, then you can try a Lane Bryant store or buy online
