Give it two or three more weeks....once the baby grows a bit larger, he'll feel the baby kick.
I remember the going through that.......I couldn't wait for my husband to feel the baby....such an exciting time!!

Good Luck to you!!!

First of all, congrats on your pregnancy! I'm 36 weeks pregnant myself!

When I was about 5 months pregnant, I could SEE my baby moving, but DH still couldn't feel it. He said it must be similar to learning to use a new fishing lure, you have to learn what you are feeling for. I have to agree! That's part of why women feel their babies moving sooner in subsequent pregnancies!

One night he had his hand on my belly for about 30 minutes and felt nothing. He gave up and rolled over. I curled up behind him and "smushed" my belly up against his backside a little. A few minutes later "WHACK!" Lil' Michael gave a mighty kick and he felt that one! I've read that a lot of men feel their first kicks this way, so it's worth a try! We still laugh about how the first time he felt his son he was kicking kicked in the ****.

By cuddling up to him pretty close, your baby will probably revolt against the invasion of his or her space and your bf may be able to feel his first kick this way, too. Now there is no doubting any movements. Check out the video of my belly at ace61502.multiply.com You'll get an idea of what to look forward to. I was a little over 7 months when I did the video, so it'll be soon for you!

You may be carrying the baby kind of low. My husband can only feel him when he moves up near my stomach. Then you can see my whole belly shake when he kicks which is kinda funny. But, my husband did say that its really hard for him to tell it's a kick with just his hand, because it can just feel like I'm moving. So when he wants to feel the baby, he puts his cheek to my belly in the right area. He says it's really definately easier to feel like that. So, maybe that will help.

Soon, but a lot of times the baby isn't used to anyone else but you so when a hand thats different than your own touches it, the baby may not move at all. I had the same problem with my boyfriend. Lift your shirt up and put something on your belly and let your boyfriend watch that. He'll like it. Then when the baby is moving a lot let him try to touch it. Good Luck!!

it is just a matter of luck. He needs to be by your side when he moves. Usually when you go to bed, short time after, the baby will start to move. This is because the outside (yours) movement has stopped. So try to go to bed together and be aware of any motion. also there is always a side that babies preffer and other that they do not like. Try to lean on that side if the previous doesn't work......just for a short time. It worked for me.

well i would imagine that you could feel the baby better because it is actually inside of you, but soon he shoould be able to feel it kicking and moving around.

All these answers are ridiculous, my husband was able to feel my daughter moving when I felt her moving...she would move and if he was near, I would call him and he would put his hand on my stomach and he always feel her moving...plus every woman knows that if you move your belly with your hands you can get your baby to move...I used to do that always when I did not feel her move on any given day.
