i have a costume party coming up, and I thought of going as a Runaway Bride. I have a White zip up corsett and tiara already, just need a skirt to go with it

1. Does anyone know what is the easiest long skirt i can sew on my own?

2. where to get the pattern?

I really dont want to spend too much on one party, thats why i would like to do a simple but effective skirt

Welll, even Walmart has inexpensive, simple patterns. Pick one that just cuts 2 long pieces, for the front and back. Then, you just have to sew the sides, put elastic at the waistband, and sew a hem (or better yet, use iron-on tape). Hopefully, the corsett will cover the waistband.

I really like long skirts. My bf wants the short ones. So my wardrobe is crammed w/ 1/2 and 1/2.

Go to the fabric store. They have patterns for beginners and cheap fabric also.
