If your tap water comes out really hot either run it under the faucet or set it in a pan of hot water.

Why not just get yourself a jug of water from the store and leave it at room tempature. Then when the baby gets hungry the formula will not be so cold. If you are like me this probably will not work in the winter time. I know that some of these bottle company's have also come out with a pack that keeps the formula warm for a period of time.

The easiest way is to microwave a butter bucket or a measuring cup of water in the microwave for 1 min. 30sec. and then put the bottle in the water. This takes about 2 minutes which is the fastest way that I found to do it.
Good Luck

I always used powdered formula. I bought the gallon jug of nursery water (or regular water) and kept it room temperature. I would put water in enough bottles to get thru the day and keep them on the kitchen counter next to the powder formula. When the baby was hungry, it only took 2 seconds to have a bottle ready! Worked great with both of our kids. Much easier than using the ready-made formula and having to warm the bottles after bringing one out of the fridge.

i'm uncertain approximately any consequences of using the microwave. yet I under no circumstances used it for my babies. Microwaves deliver off electrodes. And its particularly no longer that difficult heating up some water, i did no longer use it to be on the risk-free edge of issues. flow out and purchase the 1st years bottle and nutrition warmer. that's what I used, works great. yet you need to consistently be certain there is water interior the backside in the previous warming, because of the fact in case you employ a tumbler bottle, the bottle will wreck. got here approximately to me a pair cases. yet I nonetheless propose it.

You should never microwave it. It causes hot spots that can scald baby. And, if you're heating breastmilk, microwaving it can damage some of the good properties of the milk.
If you are heating expressed breastmilk, float the bottle in a coffee cup or bowl of hot water.

To thaw breastmilk, we always used the coffee pot. Just run a batch of water through it real fast. It heated things up real nice and quite quickly. I'm sure it would work just as well for a bottle just in need of warming.

To tell you the truth my daughter would drink more if the milk was cold. Even in the winter. So I never heated the bottles. I'd just give her a bottle straight out of the refrigerator.

i always use the microwave, just put it like 10-15 seconds depending on your microwave. you just have to make sure you shake it well so it get mixed evenly....and of course ALWAYS test it on your arm before you give it to the baby. If your tring to heat up breastmilk though dont do it it the microwave, i would just do it the way you have been

If you're using formula, I microwave the water (my microwave takes about 34 secs, but all micro's are different) then I add the formula and mix really well. Take's under a minute, and shake really well.
If it's breastmilk I just have it sit in really really hot water, I never microwaved my breastmilk.
