You have to work for it. Listen and learn from people who are smarter than you. Like teachers. Keep an open mind. Ask questions but don't be annoying when you do. Go to the library and read a lot of books. Do your homework. Get a college degree. Believe it or not, it takes effort to learn and know more than other people. There are a lot of other people out there.
By the way, why are asking the question now? Anyway, it's never too late to develop good study habits and apply yourself. I'd recommend going to college and studying hard.

You already are smart, but I will try to offer some suggestions on how you can become smarter.
1. Nobody knows everything, pick 2 or 3 things that interest YOU. A LOT. You have to really LIKE something to be motivated to learn more about it.
2. Read, Read, Read. Go to the library, Google things on the internet, go to your local bookstore. Than READ some more.
3. Keep an open mind and be a good listener.
4. Take classes in things -- even if you have a degre, or 2, or 10, keep going to school.
5. The smartest people are the ones who know there is much to still learn. Ask questions of others and yourself constantly. Have a passion for finding out the answers to those questions.

Glad you asked!! Head for the library, READ, READ, and READ some more. STOP watching lame TV shows and dump dumb friends.
Sounds pretty boring, huh? You probably are a smart girl already. Find what you're good at. Not everyone can be the smartest person in the world. But, we've all got a purpose. Find yours. You're still very young.

To become smart you have to keep your head in the game or as teachers would say keep your head in the books and out of the clouds.I just became smart by studing real hard and choosing things out of a book to study.Write back I am a girl.

think before u talk (don't answer immediately)
reading is a must dear and yes u have to do it (and i don't mean cosmopolitan!), go for famous writers
watch the news at least once each 3 days, it is interesting that u know what is going on in the world, but please don't give any analysis ever, just report what u have heard!
