Its hard to believe that destiny is fixed from birth, otherwise whats the point of life when your path is already drawn out for you?

If there is such thing as destiny, I believe that there will be destined choices that you will have, that will lead onto another set of choices and so on, until you reach your main 'destiny'.

I like to think of it like that at least, since it gives me the feeling (whether its false or not) of freedom and some flexibility in what I can become in my life.

I think to a certain degree ..yes. We have free will so it is up to us to choose the right path. For instance...I have been cutting hair since I was little. On my dolls,etc. Once I got to adulthood, I chose a different (several) path(s). Well, guess what I'm doing now and have been so very happy doing it? Yeap....hair! I have had my license since 1980 and just kept it updated. Now, I have been doing it for the last 10 years steady and just love it.

So in that sense, I think we all have a destiny. We just need to find it. It's not how much money we make either...it's what our passion is. Find your passion and go for it.

With mates..I believe we are made for a certain kind of person and when we find a person that matches us, we are attracted and that makes for a good match. I think we have predetermined characteristics that we are born with. I have witnessed it with my children and grandchildren.
