Denver. For sure. I think San Diego is a great team, but Denver is stronger and should definitely beat them.

Denver. Everyone saw what happens to San Diego's defense when they lose key starters (see Merriman...who wont be playing again this week.) They got torched by the Bengals and were lucky to win that game. This week they face the 2nd best defense in football. Not only that, but its in Denver, a place nobody on the Chargers have ever played good on (see LT...averaging under 75 yards again in the Mile High city). Also, Plummer has played well when it counted. He played very well against the Colts and just as well against the Patriots. His bad games? Oh no the Raiders. I think Denver's crowd will make it even harder on young QB Philip Rivers.

Final:
Denver 17
Chargers 13

San Diego.

Our QB is much better, and makes much less mistakes (a 4.34:1 TD:INT ratio compared to Plummer's 1:1 --and he's thrown 2 more TDs despite being "held back" by maryball the first 3 games. and you can't say SD is pass-first, since our RB is LT and all)

Denver may run alot, but the sucess is due to their fast O-line and zone blocking, LT is the superior back.

Denver's got some decent WRs (sadly they have plummber throwing to them) but for recieving cores as a whole (WRs,TEs, RBs,) SD's is MUCH better.

Both have great Ds (even with our big players gone, we're still ranking high....just damn stupid mistakes and blown coverage schemes). Denver's "bend not break" is really all you need since points, not yards, determine the winner, but up against SD's explosive offense, it will start to break, as it did against the colts'.

SD's D seems to be inconsistant (tho as a fan I don't like saying that). Even in games we cream the opponents, it seems we have a drive or 2 where we just break down and allow a TD fast (though that's better in some games, than letting them run the clock AND score). Otherwise it seems we hold most people to 3&out or close to it. (So, we're either brick wall, or mashed potatoes. I know it doens't always matter if you win, but come playoff time, I hope we can be a brick wall the whole game).

However Denver's off. sucks so as long as we can decently contain the run (although Phillips is a great rusher, loosing steve foley hurt the run D we were known for) we will be fine

San Diego wins this one, the guy above me said it best, (although his argument was for Denver which makes his comment laughable.) You can't win if you can't score, and Denver can't score. Whereas the Chargers are the highest scoring team in the league. The Chargers should win this one big, even without Merriman and Castillo. Chargers 35, Broncos 17.

I'd pick the fans to be the big winners in that one... should be a great game.

If at gunpoint, I'd go for Denver, only because they're at home, and the Bolts have a young QB. (Rivers is very good, but youth always has some growing pains, and Denver is savvy enough to try to exploit it.)

SD is better than ever this year. I think they beat Denver despite their horrible history in the mile high city.

SD. Denver doesn't have enough offense to beat them.
