the core of the planet is said to be liquid under pressure, hence volcanoes. the earth isn't hit with enough meteors etc to much influence the mass of the planet, but as the sea-floor dictates, can change in size. an example is the two of the main plates, I believe in the area of the pacific rim. these two plates are moving apart, at times exposing the hot core which pushes its mass into the cracks and cementing the 'spread' of the two plates.
if the other plates of the planet move likewise, then yes, the world could increase in volume, and give rise to a bigger earth, in lieu of magma escaping from our depths, or by areas of the earth becoming less in depth to the core, like an icecube in a glass of water.
sci fi of years gone by have mentioned the core in relation to volcanoes. the implication was that the volcano activity was putting extreme pressure on our core, which if not filled by natural forces, would create a partly filled container under pressure. the natural result was thought at the time was that the earth would explode or implode.

Hi. I'm not sure what the ping-pong ball has to do with this, but here's the scoop on your question.
1. The Earth's volume is constant. The planet is a closed system that constantly recycles its many components through a variety of processes--both biological and physical--but the sum of all components, no matter how often they're rearranged stays the same.
2. The mass of the planet can only be considered to increase, only--and I mean ONLY--if you include the trivial amount of space debris that falls on the planet year in and year out. During the very, very early history of the Earth meteor impacts were a critical source of new material for the Earth that DID add to its mass. But nowadays this is trivial.
Hope this helps.

The mass is constant with the proviso that minute changes occur when meteors, solar particles etc are received by the Earth and also when for instance space craft are shot off into space or small amounts of the atmosphere is blown into space by the solar wind.
The volume however has been decreasing ever so slowly for millenia as the Earth cools and contracts.

People being fat, people being born or dying, and things being created or destroyed have nothing to do with this, since the material for all those things comes from the earth and remains a part of the earth. Things hitting the earth (meteors) and leaving the earth (freed helium and hydrogen) affect this. These changes are small, though; for the most part the volume and density remain unchanged.

to a pair quantity, the earth does improve in time as a results of meteors and area dirt that enter our atmosphere on a on a regular basis foundation. even though, the thought the earth gained that plenty water is punctiliously absurd. The earth's floor is now seventy 5% water, with further water flowing under the dry lands. Say the earth become as quickly as 2/3rds its own length, and 50% land, it may take better than 12 billion gallons of water an afternoon to fall to earth for a era over 2 hundred million years to fill the 2 hundred million cubic miles of the present 332 million cubic miles of water at present interior the worldwide. In concept, the percentages are plenty plenty greater in all hazard it become as quickly as a water worldwide than greater often than not land.

surely not. well in my opinion the earth's volume is constant because if its volume increased it will cause many changes that me lead to a disaster to our life. As babies are born other old people are dying so the birth rate and death rate always keeps the life following well. of course the birth rate and death rate differ from country to country but certainly everything in nature is a causal process and causation is a natural purpose so our life is surely controlled we dont know that and also we cant feel those massive changes. even if more cars were brought other cars will break even if new houses were built others will collapse and what collapses them is brought up by nature such as the tsaunami so god took care of that all
hope this will answer what u wanted

It's definitely getting heavier, what with all the obese people and all the obese children. We're on our way to being the Earth Ball.
