I don't believe there is a recall provision, so neither Lieberman nor Dodd (Connecticut's other senator) can be recalled.
Plus, he was just re-elected. Why do you think anyone would want to recall him?

What, exactly, has Lieberman done to merit such an event? He has not broken any laws and he has not damaged the state of CT.
He is perfectly within his rights to "switch" parties. However, he has repeatedly (and stupidly) said that he will stick to being a democrat, even after the shoddy way that party treated him during the primaries and the election.
Lincoln Chafee of RI is about to switch parties. The voters of RI thought they were getting a republican (of course, we all knew he was a RINO) and bam! right after the election his true colors come out. THAT is much more offensive.
I would suggest getting over the fact that your boy lost and move on.

Recalled for what? For voting with his brain instead of blindly following the party line. I have more respect for Joe Lieberman than just about any other politician. Get over it. He ran as an independent and was overwhelmingly re-elected.

"If he switches parties?" What a load of crapola. Here's a news flash, the party switched on him. They cold dumped a respected sitting Senator for some far left winger who probably can't even spell Senator, and now they'll be heartbroken if he swiches parties? Talk about hypocrits? Maybe they should change their name to Democryts.

regrettably no longer. the terrific we can do is eliminate all his committee assignments 2 years from now, whilst the subsequent Senate gets began. he's in the Senate until 2012 except he breaks the regulation.
