DO NOT BELIEVE THEM. Your computer may be corrupted by virus, worms, trojans or spyware. Do not accept and download anything.
1st: turn the popup blocker on. THere are several options for this with yahoo and google.
2nd then get yourself a spyware antivirus. Many are free on the net. Spybot has given be good results and you can find it on its site. I actually use Xoftspy but it's not freeware.
3rd: I don't know which antivirus you use, but if it's norton, you should probably jettison it out the airlock. It uses a lot of system resources and is not that good. In that case, you'll have to format your computer. I've had good results with AVAST antivirus. If you format: Make sure you have a backup of you documents.
I also suggest that, if you format, that you actually put a partition on your disk. C:/ for programs (one third of the disk max) and E:/ for your documents.

Dude sounds like spyware. Go to www.lavasoft.com and click on download then AdAware Personal for free then let it scan your computer. Or go to microsoft website and download their free spyware scan called Window's Defender. Also download from Microsoft by going to their website and on the left hand side go to downloads and then download their Windows Malicious software tool. That will take a good minute for it to scan your system but it needs to be done. After that is all said and done the windows defender will continue to give your spyware protection which is pretty good. You also need to make sure you have current anti virus software.

You have a classic case of spyware infestation. The best way to get rid of the little buggers is by downloading and installing a product called AVG (it works best for me).
You can download AVG anti-virus and Anti- Spyware from their site.

Hopefully that will solve your problem.

You have spyware. Go to download.com and get adaware and spybot. download them, install them, and run them. When they prompt you to update deffinitions, say yes. They will ensure they will ckean your system right. Oh and if you see those nevrr click the ok button. Click either the x or if it comes up int he task bar (next to your start button) right click and hit close. clicking on them gives you more spyware.
