Why do you think anything to be more important than anything else?

Beauty. It is what makes life worth living. It is what makes the ugliness bearable. My definition of beauty includes love, art, music, nature -- all the magical, extraordinary things of this world that are touched by God, that lift you out of yourself. Without these things, the rest of life (the drudgery, the mundane, hideous, unpleasant, uninspired moments of life) would be overwhelming.
I hate my job but it's not my life, just what I do for a living. I won't say what I do but suffice it to say that I see the ugly side of life & humanity. It is negative & stressful & unpleasant. In my spare time, I do the things that I love: painting, writing songs, singing & playing guitar, photographing nature, spending time with my loved ones. This is who I am. This is my life. The beautiful aspects. If only I could make a living this way (I'm too practical to quit my day job! Have a mortgage to pay!)

We place importance on things when we could se our lives being greatly devalued without them. As a result, my kids are the most important things to me

My husband is the most important thing to me. he is my best friend and the love of my life.. we are 2 peas and a pod and without him it would be so difficult... that is why he is so important to me

The most important thing to me would have to be my children. I can't imagine letting any kind of harm come to what I brought into this world.

After you have all your kids, make all your plans, your friends have left to make all thier plans, lose or give away all that you have, what's left is what is important!
Trust and honesty!
Everthing else is a close second!
