For some it is by the time they miss there period but, for me morning sickness started like at 5 weeks pregnant. My first symptoms were being tired.( I got that like before I found out )

Everyone is different, there is no blueprint for pregnancy symptoms, we all get them differently, at different times and in different combinations!

With me:

Period pains starting over a week before my period was due
Sore Boobs (before my period was due)
Stomach cramps (Like I'd eaten something bad)
Tired (before my period was due)
Waking up at night feeling sick (before my period was due)

On the day my period was due I started spotting, but it was onyl a tiny amount of brown spotting and it stopped the next day, while all the symptoms remained. I did a test the next day and it was positive.

"Morning" sickness (all bloody day sickness in my case!) started about 2 days later and was horrible - it lasted until week 14 or so. but not everyone gets it - I know several women, including my mother - who never got any m/s at all. Its a matter of luck.

You can't really judge your symptoms or what they will be from others' experiences - the symptoms mentioned in these answers are all typical but people get them at different times and in different combinations and severities.

Best way to find out if you're pregnant is to do a good home pregnancy test on or just after your period is due.

Each person and each pregnancy may be different. Breast tenderness or soreness is usually the first thing you notice, but I have a friend who started morning sickness after being pregnant about 3 weeks.

It varies for each person, no one has the same symptoms or has symptoms at all. With my first pregnancy my boobs started hurting, started feeling sick and really tired around 7 weeks. with my second didn't really get any symptoms sort of thought I had the flu, just feeling queezy but nothing else. But my current pregnancy felt the symptoms right away at 4 weeks.

When I was pregnant, they started about 3-5 weeks after conception. Morning sickness was towards the 4th week but was gone in month three...hopefully you don't get this, not everyone does. My breast were very tender about 3 weeks into it.

My symptoms started about after four weeks. I was VERY tired, my breast were very sore and tender and I always felt like I was on the verge of getting my period but I obviously never did.
