That depends on what is the main course. For ham, any white wine. If the ham has that disgusting pineapple on it, you can serve a German spatlase which is typically semi-sweet. For turkey breast, any dry white such as fumé blanc, chardonnay. For turkey leg (does amyone actually eat the leg besides me?), a full bodied red such as USA / Australian cabernet sauvignon, French Burgundy, Rhone or Bordeaux.

To tell you the truth, most people don't give a flip about what is correct or proper. People like what they like so ask your guests what wine they like and go with the majority opinion unless you get five answers from five people. :•(

Though it's a red wine, try Merlot. It's mild and less acidic, so you can get good and hosed to deal with your relatives! Lol
