Who would win in a battle between the Punisher and Nicholas D. Wolfwood [a.k.a. Chapel the Evergreen] (Trigun) using his weapon called the Punisher?

Very good question. Wolfwood is a great killer with great insticts. He is a survivor and skilled to match any opponent, regardless of size or skill. Frank Castle is a bit more grounded in reality. He generally wins through guts, planning, recon, and striking fear into his enemy. I doubt he would be able to snipe, or booby trap an area for Wolfwood to fall into to. Wolfwood has fought and bested the Gung-Ho guns, killers I doubt the Punisher could stop out of the blue. Frank's only chance is to get Wolfwood in a knife fight in an enclosed area, have Wolfwood jam his knife in Franks shoulder, and then Frank snaps Wolfys neck. The Punisher is capable of taking far more punishment, but the unknown weapon and skills of Chapel will be his downfall.

Before or after he met Vash. Before meeting Vash yes i'd say he'd win. After though, I'm not so sure, as he was reluctant to kill Chapel the Evergreen. and remeber Wolfwood does have his Cross Punisher, but The Punisher has a almost never ending arsenal of weapons.

hmmm, well if he could keep the punisher very far away wolfwood would have a chance, but at close range its the punisher all the way.

The paradox of two, albeit different, Punishers in such close proximity would destroy the fabric of space-time, annihilating the universe as we know it...thereby rendering the outcome of this conflict a rather moot point, no?

I'd rather see Punisher vs. Batman (from Justice League Unlimited or Batman the animated version NOT the stupid Kids WB version).
