I have been playing sims for about four years and I look at the credits but I can never really find the creator. I'm sure he is making millions of dollars.

Will Wright is the designer and creator of The Sims, and co-founder of Maxis, the game's development company.

yeah, i think i have to agree that it's Will Wright... to check, visit wikipedia and check him out or play The Sims (with or with out the expansion packs) for 100 sim days (you can check out whether you already played for 100 days by clicking the amount of money your family currently have) and you will be prompted whether you like to know who's behind The Sims (of course, say yes!) and voila, starting with your 101th day, you will have pop outs (kinda like a sim receiving a phone call) that would begin, if i'm not mistaken, with Will Wright, creator...

char, Superstar and Makin' Magic are the next two expansions for Sims 1.

xxandra_d... is correct. by the way in 2002 i think it was maxis merged with electronic arts. i have the original sims for xbox
