How far along are you? Are you in labor or just looking for a jump start?
If you are more then 39 wks then with your docs permission you can use nipple stimulation. Basically just rub your areola between your thumb and forfinger for 15 minutes...one side at a time with a 5 minute break in between. If you have a contraction STOP and wait. When the contractions are coming 5 minutes apart STOP.
Good Luck

hold on a minute, if the baby is due walk a little and go to the hospital- let it take the normal course, it is slow at the begiining and then it dilates fast, if it took long time the dr will decide when to take action
relax for now please
if u r not due call ur dr immediately and don't try to do anything

the toddler will only come while that's waiting. i recognize how problematical that's to be soooo pregnant and depressing. i became into dilated to 2 for greater desirable than 2 weeks. My sister became into dilated 4 cm for extraordinarily much 4 weeks. It does not constantly propose that exertions is approximately to ensue. yet your physique is definately making waiting itself.

i was dilated to four for almost a week, the only way that you can speed it up is ask your ob to put you in the hospital to induce your labor. good luck and congratulations

Drink 2 teaspoons of castor oil in 8 oz. of orange juice. Then walk. This worked for my niece Oct.. 22. She had heard it works, but doubted it. She's a true believer now!!

Walking, as much as you can. If you're still home, just back and forth on your own block so you don't get too far from home. If you're heading into the hospital, they'll let you walk the halls.

Go for a walk, or walk around where you are. It does help to speed things up.

I'd suggest coffee, but coffee also makes your bowels move faster, and that might be inconvenient just now.
