I REALLY hate to say this, as a Democrat, and supporter of zero-population growth, but check out Texas. I saw a show on HGTV the other night, in which a family was looking for a large house near Dallas. They got a HUGE place, which needed work, on an enormous lot, for $128,000!
I don't know about the schools or crime rate, though. The husband was a firefighter and the mother had an at-home business.

I say Wyoming is the best place to raise a family. There are decent paying jobs esspecially in the Methane fields and there are coal mining jobs. The schools are top in the nation. And very little crime.

Georgia....Like, Young Harris, Georgia, to be exact. My brother and his family moved there because of the very things you are looking for....it is a mountaineous area and a lot of folks from Fla. move their after retirement because it's such a good place to live...but the schools are tops and not crowded, low crime, good jobs, and almost a Mayberry type environment but close to Atlanta and the Cherokee nc is not too far away...

a good, southern state, preferabli South Carolina because we have simple styles just from like american eagle or abercrombie and fitch and when u get a house u almost always have a lot of yard to play and raise ur family in...our crime rates are super low compared to the bigger cities...u know what ur kids are doing and all of the hang outs and we have great schools! :]]

i wager you're speaking about Alaska. for sure Barack Obama could develop 5 children and govern a state although the really massive difference will be that he will be searching after his daughters, compared to Palin that extremely of searching after her family individuals, had too a lot on her plate, which include that thirst of power, and now all of us understand why Bristol Palin is pregnant, mom replaced into not there..... that's really user-friendly to be a hypocrite and characteristic twin accepted ideas, i wager now all of us understand why Republicans are the way they are. human beings couldn't in any respect ignore a thanks to be humble. look into the above link. A u . s . without coaching is a u . s . which will self-destruct.
